Good morning Darling Lovelies! Since Maddy joined the Darling Lovely Life team, we’ve been out and about quite a bit both separately and as a duo. So I thought I’d share some of our own snaps from our adventures the last couple of weeks! The hectic life of a blogger!

Party at The Parlour

We had a little pampering party for our blogging & journalism buddies over at The Parlour London, an adorable vintage blow dry bar & salon. We took some of our own snaps while we were there, but for the full scoop & the pro photos, head over to our recap post.

A day out at Olivier Laudus

Last week, we went to hang out and check out some gorgeous wedding jewellery at the glittering Olivier Laudus HQ in London. Owners Olivier & Sangeeta are long-term friends of the blog and it was amazing to see their new collection and their store in person – plus there were cupcakes & campaigns with bling-wearing cats. They’ve come so far in such a short time and their stock is just amazing, so if you’re looking for somewhere nice, quiet and private to try on wedding accessories and shoes, I can’t recommend Oliver Laudus enough.

Also, check out Maddy’s pink, sequinned shoes. Yes!!

A very magical experience at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour

On Friday evening I went to a special press preview for the half-term Feathers & Flight exhibition at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour – the making of Harry Potter. I met the owl who played Hedwig and was genuinely a little bit star struck (best owl ever). The animal trainers from the movies were also on hand to answer any questions, there was free Butterbeer (win) a goody bag with a quill (very apt) and a fully functioning snitch and lots and lots of owls. I also got a behind-the-scenes look at how Buckbeak and Fawkes were put together. It involved painstaking painting and glueing – my inner crafter ached in sympathy. All in all, a truly magical evening.

The Feathers and Flight event runs until 27th April at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour, so UK Harry Potter fans, get a move on if you want to meet Hedwig! Well, that’s what we’ve been up to the last few weeks, now back to the task at hand – bringing you some more awesome content!
